Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Charya |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Charya, the god of destruction.
Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Charya due to low atmospheric pressure, which is less than 6 percent of Monu's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods. In November 3100, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Charya.
Charya can easily be seen from Monu with the naked eye, as can its brownish coloring.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Racer, which entered into orbit around Charya after a problematic journey. |
