Suggested name | Bohyoryu-kyo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Bohyoryu-kyo, the goddess of war.
The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to HD 30177, which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 81 days.
It is radically different from Gyaramyo in other respects.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of rock.
Bohyoryu-kyo can easily be seen from Gyaramyo with the naked eye, as can its brownish coloring.
Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator). |
