Suggested name | Anpouyai'zh |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Anpouyai'zh has been known to astronomers since the medieval. Anpouyai'zh's atmosphere is similar to Yuew's in its primary composition of ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) and sulfur dioxide, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is named after the deity Anpouyai'zh, the creator of nature.
An observer on Anpouyai'zh would therefore see only one sunrise every two years.
Anpouyai'zh's surface appears extremely rippled and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years. The polar regions are constantly below 261°K (-12°C).
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 300 kilometers across when Anpouyai'zh is closest because of Earth's atmosphere. |
