Suggested name | Byahoru |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Byahoru is the fourth planet from HD 22532 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system. In English, Byahoru is often referred to as the "brown planet" because the argon prevalent on its surface gives it a pale brown appearance that is recognizable among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
This planet is named after the deity Byahoru, the goddess of fear.
The polar regions are constantly below 243°K (-30°C).
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.
The Byahoru system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. |
