The planet is named after the deity Mirdesi Mab, the creator of war.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Mirdesi Mab's distance from HD 216437 is only about two-thirds (or 69 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
Mirdesi Mab is the site of Titanic Tower, the most active volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
Mirdesi Mab can easily be seen from Theus with the naked eye, as can its grayish coloring.
The surface of this cruel planet is mostly occupied by hostile but primitive bacteria known to spend their life by hunting something called Noeper Sponjarn are somewhat related to Dilrhea Mab, have 12 tentacles and vary in size from 50 to 90 mm. Most Sponjarn are able to thrive at temperatures from 60 to 140°C and sometimes severe infection. |
