Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pyun Lyi |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Pyun Lyi, the demon of the sky.
It has the densest atmosphere of the three cold planets, consisting primarily of water.
Pyun Lyi was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Pyun Lyi's hazy atmosphere make observation of its surface challenging in visible light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 22 years ago. Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Pyun Lyi's hazardous precipitation.
Wind speeds can reach 59 metres per second.
The cruel oceans are entirely populated by harmless advanced carnivores that spend their life everywhere by devouring another species called Myujai-pyuan. Pofyang Zh are not similar to the Wengl-youg and have 4 tentacles and vary in length from 70 to 80 cm. They are known to endure temperatures from 0 to 80°C and even intense weather which is common on this planet. |
