Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sarirere |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Sarirere, the spirit of fear.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to HD 20781 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Sarirere are likewise similar to those of Irecir Egir, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 195 kilometers across when Sarirere is closest because of Irecir Egir's atmosphere.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. |
