Suggested name | Mabokya |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Guege-suki, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
When viewed from Guege-suki, Mabokya can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The planet is named after the deity Mabokya, the bringer of war.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every three revolutions it makes around HD 190360.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Mabokya are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
Mabokya is primarily composed of oxygen with a significant part of its mass being water, though water comprises only about a limited fraction of the number of molecules.
Surface said to have friendly but shy poisonous humanoids, the "Gyokyu Bya", that survive in deep valleys by seeking something called Teke'ya in the shade. They are believed to be not similar to the Heogo-hyoja but have wings and vary in length from 70 to 120 mm. Most Gyokyu Bya are able to withstand temperatures from -90 to -60°C and also predators attacking which is common on Mabokya. |
