Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dilae |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Dilae, the bringer of dreams.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 375 kilometers across when Dilae is closest because of Earth's atmosphere.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Pioneer, which entered into orbit around Dilae after a very expensive journey. |
