Suggested name | Sesumu-zagya |
Planet type | Cold planet |
The planet is named after the deity Sesumu-zagya, the demon of destruction.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Sesumu-zagya are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
In 2880, images from Frontier 3 showed Sesumu-zagya as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other cold planets.
The surface is mostly known for its hostile stone-age herbivores called the "Chimupyu". They survive by consuming another species called Nyochoke Pabya. Most of them are similar to the Shuryo Jonro but with wings and vary in size from 23 to 38 mm. Most Chimupyu can reproduce at temperatures from -70 to -20°C and also even a limited degree of radiation which is rare on this planet. |
