Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Cibade |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
This planet is named after the deity Cibade, the demon of the underworld.
An observer on Cibade would therefore see only one sunset every three years.
It is radically different from Nepyk Anyk in other respects.
As the closest planet to Nepyk Anyk, Cibade has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Cibade are likewise similar to those of Nepyk Anyk, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
The dark surface is mostly occupied by harmless but terraformed plants, the "Neta", which spend their life close to volcanos by eating another species called Roxida. Neta are similar to the Olaroxo-paro but have 7 eyes and vary in length from 19 to 23 cm. Most Neta can endure temperatures from 90 to 170°C and even a limited degree of radiation which is common on Cibade. |
