Suggested nameRachu-janu Gyo
Planet typeCold planet
Rachu-janu Gyo is similar in composition to Gyohega Pu, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. Rachu-janu Gyo's atmosphere is similar to Gyohega Pu's in its primary composition of carbonyl sulfide and argon, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This planet is named after the deity Rachu-janu Gyo, the god of dreams.

Rachu-janu Gyo's surface appears extremely bruised and is similar in appearance to the Moon's, indicating that it has been geologically inactive for billions of years.

Rachu-janu Gyo is the site of Robusto Mountain, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.

Rachu-janu Gyo can easily be seen from Gyohega Pu with the naked eye, as can its orangeish coloring.

In late February 2600, Rachu-janu Gyo was visited by the New Horizons probe, which used Rachu-janu Gyo's gravity to increase its speed and bend its trajectory en route to Gyohega Pu.
