Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Dusmun Lene |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Dusmun Lene, the creator of the sea.
When viewed from Rigaret, this proximity to HD 139357 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold planets, Dusmun Lene lacks a well-defined magnetic field.
Dusmun Lene has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Daedalus flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter. |
