Suggested name | Panyruxi |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is a cold planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of HD 137388, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. Panyruxi's atmosphere is similar to Enovop's in its primary composition of methane and water, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. It is named after the deity Panyruxi, the messenger of dreams.
When viewed from Earth, this proximity to HD 137388 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
Panyruxi is gravitationally locked with HD 137388 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly four times for every three revolutions it makes around HD 137388.
Panyruxi was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
The surface is often known for its harmless and terraformed plants known as "Elun Ysor". They feed scattered in groups while eating a substance called "Leraliru" Most of them are closely similar to the Laler Ihaxo'x but have 4 arms and vary in size from 27 to 64 cm. Elun Ysor are known to withstand temperatures from 100 to 180°C and even electrical shock which is common near the poles. |
