Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pyamya |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Pyamya is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Pyamya is orbiting HD 134060 every 1200 Earth days. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Xyoseng, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
It is named after the deity Pyamya, the creator of the sea.
The polar regions are constantly below 117°K (-156°C).
As the closest planet to Xyoseng, Pyamya has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration. |
