Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pasobir |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Orbiting within Enym-ihe's orbit, Pasobir is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from HD 124330; its maximum angular distance from HD 124330 (elongation) is 82 degrees.
The planet is named after the deity Pasobir, the god of good fortune.
Pasobir is primarily composed of ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) with a significant part of its mass being hydrogen, though hydrogen comprises only about a small fraction of the number of molecules. The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
The Pasobir system has a unique configuration among those of the planets because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways, nearly into the plane of its solar orbit. Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
Atmosphere | Ammonium hydrosulfide (NH4SH) | 46% |
Hydrogen | 40% |
Argon | 14% |
