Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Theeke |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Orbiting within Uqpuck-situngr's orbit, Theeke is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from HD 108863; its maximum angular distance from HD 108863 (elongation) is 82 degrees.
Theeke's atmosphere is similar to Uqpuck-situngr's in its primary composition of ozone and hydrogen, but it contains more "ices" such as water, ammonia, and methane, along with traces of other hydrocarbons. This planet is named after the deity Theeke, the goddess of destruction.
In November 2000, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Theeke. |
