Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Epeb |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Its orbital period around HD 106906 (AB) of @ORBITALPERIOD earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
This planet is named after the deity Epeb, the bringer of the sea.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Qara-roz. The planet telescopically displays the complete range of phases, similar to Venus and the Moon, as it moves in its inner orbit relative to HD 106906 (AB), which reoccurs over the so-called synodic period approximately every 70 days.
This cruel planet is mostly known for its dangerous but primitive plants known as "Roqat". They spend their life in the air while eating plants if they need to. Roqat are closely related to Coxarar and have 3 arms and vary in size from 80 to 130 cm. Most Roqat can thrive at temperatures from -40 to 10°C and sometimes near-vacuum. |
