| Tiepi Sida is the only habitable planet orbiting HATS-4 and one of the smallest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Tiepi Sida, the god of nature.
It has the densest atmosphere of the three hot gas giants, consisting of huge amounts of argon.
As the closest planet to Iaka Daph, Tiepi Sida has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 28 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. Surrounding Tiepi Sida is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. |
