Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kivi Dusdome |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
This hot gas giant is named after the deity Kivi Dusdome, the god of the underworld.
An observer on Kivi Dusdome would therefore see only one day every four years.
Kivi Dusdome is a hot gas giant and is sometimes called Earth's "brother planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to HAT-P-61, and bulk composition.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Kivi Dusdome are likewise similar to those of Garetsete-iji, as is the tilt that produces the seasons.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other hot gas giants, Kivi Dusdome lacks a well-defined solid surface. |
