Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Chaob Eidwu |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
It has the longest rotation period (445 days) of any planet in its solar system and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets.
Chaob Eidwu and Yuanbao are hot gas giants rich in ice. This hot gas giant is named after the deity Chaob Eidwu, the spirit of fear.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Chaob Eidwu's distance from HAT-P-59 is only about two-thirds (or 69 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
It may have had formaldehyde oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
As one of the most noticeable objects in the sky, Chaob Eidwu has been a major influence in native folklore for as long as records have existed. |
