Suggested name | Myashuno'mya |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
Myashuno'mya is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Myashuno'mya is orbiting HAT-P-35 every 3.6 Earth days.
Myashuno'mya is the only habitable planet orbiting HAT-P-35 and one of the oldest in its solar system. Myashuno'mya and Wora Hyu are hot gas giants rich in rock. The planet is named after the deity Myashuno'mya, the spirit of war.
An observer on Myashuno'mya would therefore see only one sunrise every four years.
In November 1300, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Myashuno'mya.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators.
This harsh place is crowded with hostile yet earth-like plants known as "Amuza-noro". They spend their life only by finding nourishment in another species called Yabuhi Bya in the shade. They are believed to be closely related to Dazesho'ebyu, have 5 legs and vary in length from 4 to 6 cm. They can withstand temperatures from -20 to 20°C and stormy weather which is common on this planet. |
