Suggested name | Kigyuse |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
This hot gas giant is named after the deity Kigyuse, the creator of chaos.
An observer on Kigyuse would therefore see only one day every five years.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Kigyuse's strong magnetosphere.
Kigyuse is the site of Ars Peak, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in its solar system, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in its solar system.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of dust.
Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Kigyuse approached its equinox 3 years ago.
The brutal oceans are inhabitated by large but poisonous bacteria, the "Soryanya Bo", that survive everywhere by eating a substance called "Nuzucho" if the weather permits it. Soryanya Bo are closely related to the Tookupo Ma but with 7 eyes and vary in length from 60 to 100 mm. They can reproduce at temperatures from -90 to -40°C and extreme gravity which is common near the poles. |
