Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Stoko-mos |
Planet type | Small hot gas planet |
Its orbital period around HAT-P-11 of 4.9 earth days is the longest of all the planets in its solar system.
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 73°K (-200°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with H, thought to make up the lowest clouds, and C, the uppermost layer of clouds. This small hot gas planet is named after the deity Stoko-mos, the messenger of prosperity.
Stoko-mos is gravitationally locked with HAT-P-11 in a 2:1 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Stoko-mos is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. |
