Suggested name | Kyomuza Ibya |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Kyomuza Ibya is the fourth planet from GJ 849 and the second-smallest planet in its solar system. Kyomuza Ibya is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Kyomuza Ibya is orbiting GJ 849 every 1900 Earth days. Orbiting within Hyuna-wa's orbit, Kyomuza Ibya is an inferior planet and never appears to venture far from GJ 849; its maximum angular distance from GJ 849 (elongation) is 72 degrees.
The planet is named after the deity Kyomuza Ibya, the demon of fear.
As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly four times for every two revolutions it makes around GJ 849.
As the closest planet to Hyuna-wa, Kyomuza Ibya has been a prime target for early extra solar exploration. |
