Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Yubyu |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
For this reason, scientists often classify Yubyu and Hyamya as "terrestrials" to distinguish them from the other planets. This terrestrial is named after the deity Yubyu, the demon of good fortune.
Yubyu is gravitationally locked with GJ 3998 in a 4:3 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system.
Two spacecraft have visited Yubyu: Daedalus 6 flew by 42 years ago; and Messenger, launched 23 years ago, orbited Yubyu over 70 times in four years before exhausting its pwoer source and crashing into the planet's surface 4 years later. |
