The planet is named after the deity Ryalei, the demon of nature.
The polar regions are constantly below 117°K (-156°C).
As the closest planet to Zyaxway-ying, Ryalei has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
In 1291, images from Frontier 6 showed Ryalei as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other small cold gas planets.
The nice surface is mostly said to have aggressive medieval plants known as "Zwoceig Yiro". They survive by seeking anything they find. Most Zwoceig Yiro are related to the Haokyue Zwang but have wings and vary in length from 50 to 120 cm. They are known to survive temperatures from 90 to 190°C and drought. |
