Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Koshoge Nego |
Planet type | Cold planet |
In English, Koshoge Nego is often referred to as the "green planet" because the hydrogen chloride prevalent on its surface gives it a strange green appearance that is unusual among the astronomical bodies visible to the naked eye.
Koshoge Nego and Soburyo are cold planets rich in gas. It is named after the deity Koshoge Nego, the demon of destruction.
Two spacecraft have visited Koshoge Nego: Wayfinder 8 flew by 23 years ago; and Messenger, launched 10 years ago, orbited Koshoge Nego over 170 times in four years before exhausting its reactor and crashing into the planet's surface 11 years later.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Koshoge Nego 2200 and ExoKoshoge Nego rovers. |
