Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Porpapros |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
When viewed from Kelia An, Porpapros can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. This planet is named after the deity Porpapros, the demon of chaos.
Two spacecraft have visited Porpapros: Wayfinder 7 flew by 17 years ago; and Messenger, launched 8 years ago, orbited Porpapros over 155 times in four years before exhausting its plasma drive and crashing into the planet's surface 4 years later.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Porpapros 1000 and ExoPorpapros rovers.
Its apparent magnitude reaches -3, which is surpassed only by Kelia An, Metar Prax, and GJ 15A.
The largest moon is occupied by aggressive primordial bacteria, the "Meferpan He", which feed on the surface by eating a substance called "Epiorix Tonix". Most of them are somewhat related to Idinis Por but have 4 eyes and vary in length from 11 to 20 cm. Meferpan He are known to survive temperatures from -30 to 30°C and ultra violet light which is common on this planet. |
