Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Xyfyqu-p |
Planet type | Terrestrial |
The planet is named after the deity Xyfyqu-p, the demon of love and beauty.
It was the one of the first exoplanets visited by a spacecraft, and one of the first to be successfully landed on.
In 2284, images from Frontier 6 showed Xyfyqu-p as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other terrestrials. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Xyfyqu-p approached its equinox 9 years ago.
The lakes are known for its unreliable stone-age herbivores that spend their life by seeking the somewhat smaller "Erabe" that lives there. Most of them are related to the Erenu, have scales and vary in length from 80 to 110 cm. Ipyxus are able to reproduce at temperatures from -80 to -60°C and predators attacking which is common on this planet. |
