Fictional info (?)
Suggested namePitohyu Kya
Planet typeHuge cold gas giant
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Hage, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, sometimes, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.

This huge cold gas giant is named after the deity Pitohyu Kya, the god of destruction.

There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Pitohyu Kya, as well as the possibility of extant life. The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 12 meters.

Pitohyu Kya can easily be seen from Hage with the naked eye, as can its blackish coloring.

Pitohyu Kya has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Wayfinder flyby missions and later by the Isaac orbiter.
