Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Tides Ticor |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Tides Ticor, the spirit of destruction.
Tides Ticor was one of the first planets to have its motions plotted across the sky - as early as the second millennium BC.
Tides Ticor's dense atmosphere make observation of its surface difficult in infrared light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 38 years ago.
The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Earth's oceans.
The surface of this planet is entirely inhabitated by friendly and medieval plants called the "Obetar". They spend their life by eating the somewhat smaller "Pesyco". Obetar are similar to the Mone-gamip and have fur and vary in length from 50 to 70 cm. Obetar are able to live at temperatures from 160 to 200°C and very low gravity which is rare on this planet. |
