Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Kakyo |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Kakyo has been known to astronomers since the medieval. This cold planet is named after the deity Kakyo, the messenger of prosperity.
As one of the brightest objects in the sky, Kakyo has been a major fixture in native culture for as long as records have existed.
Plans have been proposed for rovers or more complex missions, but they are hindered by Kakyo's hostile surface conditions.
Two of Kakyo's moons, Wakyu and Woguyo, are are quite irregularly shaped.
In November 1600, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Kakyo. |
