Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Efenet |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Nevodu, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, often, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This planet is named after the deity Efenet, the bringer of love and beauty.
Efenet has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Wayfinder flyby missions and later by the Galileo orbiter. The latest probe to visit the planet is Pointer, which entered into orbit around Efenet after a very expensive trip. |
