Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Eukeri |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
It is the coldest planetary atmosphere in its solar system, with a minimum temperature of 43°K (-230°C), and has a complex, layered cloud structure with methane thought to make up the lowest clouds, and water the uppermost layer of clouds.
It may have had carbon dioxide oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
The surface of this sinister planet is full of dangerous and advanced herbivores known as "Geloge". They feed in the air while hunting anything they find during the day. They are believed to be related to Corpero'daph and have 10 tentacles and vary in size from 70 to 160 cm. Geloge can withstand temperatures from -10 to 30°C and sometimes intense weather which is rare on this planet. |
