Hepolythel Kin and Orpa-steph-ti are small warm gas planets rich in gas. This planet is named after the deity Hepolythel Kin, the goddess of chaos.
The atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is 0.5 bar, or roughly the pressure found 675 m under the oceans of Earth. It may have had ethane oceans in the past, but these would have vaporized as the temperature rose due to a runaway greenhouse effect.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Hepolythel Kin 1600 and ExoHepolythel Kin rovers. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of sand. |
