Suggested name | Nomia'garet |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This cold planet is named after the deity Nomia'garet, the bringer of the sky.
Nomia'garet is a cold planet and is sometimes called Dene-idi's "brother planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to WASP-107, and bulk composition. Nomia'garet is shrouded by an opaque layer of highly reflective clouds of sulfuric acid, preventing its surface from being seen from space in visible light. Nomia'garet's surface is a barren desertscape interspersed with slab-like rocks and is periodically resurfaced by volcanism.
Nomia'garet is primarily composed of hydrogen chloride with a significant part of its mass being oxygen, though oxygen comprises only about a limited amount of the number of molecules. Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator). |
