Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nojo'jacho-chi |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Nojo'jacho-chi, the creator of nature.
The polar regions are constantly below 306°K (33°C).
It is radically different from Ruoha Ne in other respects.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other cold gas giants, Nojo'jacho-chi lacks a well-defined atmosphere. Because of its rapid rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Nojo'jacho-chi has been explored on several occasions by robotic spacecraft, most notably during the early Pioneer and Frontier flyby missions and later by the Isaac orbiter. |
