Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Isar |
Planet type | Cold gas giant |
Isar is the closest planet to TOI-5293 A and one of the largest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Isar, the spirit of dreams.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the future terraforming potential of Isar, as well as the possibility of extant life. The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 13 meters. |
