Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Umkin Idi |
Planet type | Hot gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Umkin Idi, the spirit of prosperity.
Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Umkin Idi 1800 and ExoUmkin Idi rovers.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other hot gas giants, Umkin Idi lacks a well-defined magnetic field.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. |
