Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nislene-re |
Planet type | Large warm gas giant |
The planet is named after the deity Nislene-re, the bringer of the sky.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Aotungr Gala.
The methane has probably photodissociated, and the free carbon dioxide has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a oxygen layer.
This unpleasant planet is inhabitated by friendly ultra advanced plants, the "Theber", which survive while eating the somewhat smaller "Tarnoe Nalene". They are similar to the Hehysao Cal but have fur and vary in size from 70 to 120 mm. Most Theber are able to endure temperatures from -20 to 20°C but are killed by even a limited degree of radiation. |
