Suggested name | Reshase'jihyo |
Planet type | Hot planet |
It is a hot planet planet with a mass one-thousandth that of TOI-2096, but two-and-a-half times that of all the other planets in its solar system combined. For this reason, scientists often classify Reshase'jihyo and Rubyu Hya as "hot planets" to distinguish them from the other planets. This hot planet is named after the deity Reshase'jihyo, the creator of love and beauty.
Its orbital eccentricity is the largest of all known planets in its solar system; at perihelion, Reshase'jihyo's distance from TOI-2096 is only about two-thirds (or 92 pct) of its distance at aphelion.
As the closest planet to Rubyu Hya, Reshase'jihyo has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of frozen gas. |
