Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Adton Pa |
Planet type | Huge hot gas giant |
When viewed from Anosi, Adton Pa can reach an apparent magnitude of -3, bright enough for its reflected light to cast shadows, and making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky. The interior of Adton Pa is mainly composed of ices and rock. The planet is named after the deity Adton Pa, the messenger of prosperity.
In November 1800, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Adton Pa.
Because of its fast rotation, the planet's shape is that of an oblate spheroid (it has a slight but noticeable bulge around the equator).
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. In 3376, images from Wayfinder 3 showed Adton Pa as an almost featureless planet in visible light, without the cloud bands or storms associated with the other huge hot gas giants. |
