The planet is named after the deity Ejuxuxe'coni, the demon of chaos.
Ejuxuxe'coni is gravitationally locked with TOI-1221 in a 5:4 spin-orbit resonance, and rotates in a way that is unique in its solar system. As seen relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly five times for every four revolutions it makes around TOI-1221.
The latest probe to visit the planet is Juno, which entered into orbit around Ejuxuxe'coni after a challenging journey. |
