Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Orauto |
Planet type | Cold planet |
It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after Rimas Re, reaching an apparent magnitude of -5 - bright enough to cast shadows at night and, rarely, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight.
This cold planet is named after the deity Orauto, the spirit of hate.
The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 10 percent of the planet and may be a giant impact feature.
The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries. The largest moon, Peranan Nomenaq, has a diameter greater than that of the planet Mars. |
