Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Yuan-lyan'kyue |
Planet type | Huge cold gas giant |
Yuan-lyan'kyue is the only habitable planet orbiting SRGeJ0453 and one of the largest in its solar system. This planet is named after the deity Yuan-lyan'kyue, the creator of dreams.
Yuan-lyan'kyue's thick atmosphere render observation of its surface difficult in ultraviolet light, and the first detailed maps did not emerge until the arrival of the Magellan orbiter 60 years ago.
Its north and south poles, therefore, lie where most other planets have their equators. Observations from Earth have shown seasonal change and increased weather activity as Yuan-lyan'kyue approached its equinox 8 years ago.
The nice surface is mostly occupied by unreliable interesting carnivores, the "Qwakyou", that feed on the ground by consuming smaller pray during the day. They are related to Langyue, have 2 eyes and vary in length from 70 to 100 cm. Most Qwakyou can withstand temperatures from 130 to 150°C and also high atmospheric pressure which is rare on this planet. |
