Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Pucktis-me |
Planet type | Hot planet |
Pucktis-me is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth. Pucktis-me is orbiting L 168-9 every 1.4 Earth days.
This hot planet is named after the deity Pucktis-me, the demon of war.
When viewed from Ophecal Mede, this proximity to L 168-9 means the planet can only be seen near the western or eastern horizon during the early evening or early morning.
It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements, but like the other hot planets, Pucktis-me lacks a well-defined magnetic field. Surrounding Pucktis-me is a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. |
