Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Sequn |
Planet type | Cold planet |
This planet is named after the deity Sequn, the bringer of prosperity.
At this time it may appear as a bright star-like object, but is often far more difficult to observe than Inumo-r.
The ozone has probably photodissociated, and the free methane has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind because of the lack of a hydrogen deuteride (HD) layer.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the present habitability potential of Sequn, as well as the possibility of extant life. In November 2800, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Sequn. |
Atmosphere | Methane | 48% |
Krypton | 46% |
Ozone | 2.3% |
Hydrogen deuteride (HD) | 2% |
Water vapor | 0.65% |
Hydrogen peroxide | 0.0055% |
Atmospheric pressure | 0.013 bar |
