This cold planet is named after the deity Qonorix, the messenger of dreams.

In November 1600, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Qonorix.

The outer atmosphere is visibly segregated into several bands at different latitudes, resulting in turbulence and storms along their interacting boundaries.
