Fictional info (?) |
Suggested name | Nyone |
Planet type | Cold planet |
Its orbital period around Kepler-655 of 46 earth days is the shortest of all the planets in its solar system.
Nyone is the oldest planet known belonging to Kepler-655 and one of the largest in its solar system. Nyone has been known to astronomers since the beginning of the space age. Nyone is similar in composition to Uriri Rakyu, and both have different bulk chemical composition from that of the larger cold planets. This planet is named after the deity Nyone, the goddess of fear.
As the closest planet to Uriri Rakyu, Nyone has been a prime target for early interplanetary exploration.
The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Nyone are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. |
